Refund & Cancellation Policy


This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms under which refunds may be requested and issued for tournament registrations and related services offered on the GearForge esports platform (“Platform”). By registering for any tournament, event, or service on https://www.gearforge.in/, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Tournament Entry Fee Refunds
Refunds for entry fees may be provided only in the following situations:

- If the tournament is cancelled by GearForge

- If the tournament is postponed for more than 7 days

- If a user registers but the slot is not allotted due to capacity limits

- If a technical or payment error results in duplicate charges


2. Situations Where Refunds Will Not Be Provided
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

- If a player or team is disqualified for violating rules or fair play policies

- If a player voluntarily withdraws from the tournament after registration

- If a player faces internet, device, or technical issues from their side

- If match time is missed or arrival is late resulting in walkover or auto loss

- If tournament rules, format, or schedule are updated as required by organisers


3. Refund Process & Timelines
All approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method used during registration.

- Refund processing time: 5–7 working days

- UPI refunds may reflect sooner depending on bank timelines

- Users must provide accurate payment information where required


4. Raising a Refund Request
Users may request a refund by contacting support within 24 hours of the issue or announcement affecting the tournament.

- Registered name

- Registered mobile number

- Tournament name

- Payment screenshot / transaction ID


5. No Cash or Transfer Outside Platform Account
Refunds will not be issued through offline modes such as cash, cryptocurrency, wallet transfer, or personal transfers. Only original payment channels are used for security reasons.


6. Special Events & Sponsored Tournaments
Certain special events or sponsored tournaments may follow separate refund terms. These will be communicated on the event page when applicable.
